The Company

Novel ideas and ambitious product design to benefit thoracic surgeons and their patients.

Sic Brevetti was founded in 2002 to develop novel ideas and designs to meet the everyday clinical needs of thoracic surgeons. The first project resulted in the Device for Sternal Synthesis (DSS), for which the company achieved product validation, CE Mark Certification in May 2009 and in December 2009, clearance to market the device in the United States.

Mission

Produce safe, efficient, patient-friendly products, with the additional aim of improving costs for healthcare providers. The quest for these characteristics is the result of the founders' decades of experience in understanding the clinical needs of thoracic surgeons, the economic realities of the markets served, and the ability to critically evaluate new technologies as they become available. We calibrate ourselves each day with the needs of our clients as they drive us towards projects aimed at satisfying their clinical needs, while even more importantly improving the experience for the patient.

We believe that human resources, in combination with ambitious design, can provide the ideal situation for the creation of a winning product.
